Hint:on Color Selection
When selecting the ribbon color, remember to ensure a contrast between the
ribbon and the text. White text on a pink or ivory ribbon, for example,
would be hardly readable. |

Hint:on Favor Ribbons
You need to complete a series of Steps to order a FAVOR style ribbon.
You will need to enter the text you want on the left hand side of the
ribbon (usually the couple's name, bride's name first) and, on the right
hand side, the date of the wedding.
Do NOT expect to get
more than 35 characters on the ribbon - on average - especially if the
type style you select is italacized or 'scripty'.
Each capital letter takes up the same space (approximately) as two lower
case letters.
We AUTOMATICALLY add .5 inch as the left and right margins.
Hint: on Ribbon Length
The Finished (cut)
length of the ribbon is the total length of the ribbon you will be using
to wrap your favor. Generally, ribbon lengths of 14 - 16 inches are 'usual'
and will meet most needs. To determine the actual length you need, use
a piece of string to 'wrap' the favor you will be using, then measure
the piece of string.
In the FAVOR type of ribbon, be certain when estimating the cut length
to ensure that it is long enough to not only make the wrap, but is sufficiently
long enough so that your text (left and right side) can be clearly seen.
